Conclusion

What have you learned?

Now that you and your group have chosen  pieces of Pop art by various artists, you now can now identify:

1.  Reoccuring themes in Pop art such as the subjects , styles and mediums that the  artists used to create their art.

2. Discuss the reasons why these images were used.

3. The characteristics that  make  the Pop Art Movement is different from other
movements in art we have studied, it's major influences .

In your school career and even in college you may take courses  in which you are asked to discuss

themes,  images , and influences in art movements throughout history as well as  discuss the

ways in which society , culture , and politics are reflected in Art .

You may want to ponder  these questions about your project.

1. If you could choose more works of art which ones would you add?

2. If you could only choose art from one specific Pop artsist which one would you choose?

3. Which artist 's work,in your opinion, was the strongest representative of the Pop art movement?       Why?

4.  How is the Pop Art movement different from other movements we have studied?

Reflect on these questions and think about how images in Pop culture might still be used in art and advertising today.
